Presenter's Bio:
Fuad Sultanov holds Ph. D. in civil engineering and a certificate of achievement in adult education. He is an industrial practitioner with over 20 years experience in offshore oil and gas, automotive, construction, maritime and other industry sectors, implementing best industry practices in quality management, process improvement and leadership development.

He started his career as in research and development and defended his scientific degree in 1992. His international industrial career started in 1993 when he joined Pennzoil Caspian Corporation as an engineer for installation of a gas compressor station at the legendary Oily Rocks offshore field. Later he worked as an Assistant Project Manager for CIPCO petroleum consortia on exploration of a perspective structure offshore Caspian.

Fuad works in Canada since 2003 where he managed for several years quality departments in metal fabrication and automotive industry sectors. In addition he consulted and facilitated certification of over dozen of Canadian companies to ISO standards, provided corporate training courses and delivered seminars in quality management, best industry practices, lean manufacturing and six sigma. One of his courses on industrial management which he designed for a customer in the developing Russian automotive sector, a large automotive assembly plant operated by SeverStal Auto, was presented and discussed at the conference organized by the Canadian Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association and Canadian Embassies in the Eastern Europe in 2008.

Fuad currently provides instruction in industrial management at an engineering training center in Toronto, Canada. He also continues to deliver consulting and training solutions to customers World-wide.
